Ryu Graphix will be represented at this years HOW design conference coming up in May. Creative Director Justin Cline will be heading down… he’s looking forward to the Studio Tours the day before, as well as a number of the sessions. This Wednesday, AIGA is hosting Design Jam ‘08. It sounds pretty cool… 3 designers (anyone can enter) will be randomly chosen to compete in each heat, then winners of each compete for grand prize. Designers have 15 min to complete their solution to a design problem.

We’ll be heading down there, and hope to see some of you there. It’s at Plus + Gallery (2350 Lawrence Street, Denver). Check out the link below for event details and for registration info. Big bonus too… Rob Angermuller from Cypher13/JoyEngine crew will be one of the judges

We’re very pleased to announce that WDA (WebDesignAwards.com) has awarded the new JoyEngine site an award for being one of the best and most progressive css websites on the web!

Since it’s launch in the last week of December, JE 2.0 has been getting tons of traffic and a lot of great reviews. The JoyEngine crew has been great to work with and their clean, precise layout has made this a very fun project to make a reality.

At the time of writing, the JoyEngine site was up at #1, but please head over and vote for it anyway!

Hey everyone, it’s been quite a while since we’ve updated on our end over here. We’ve had two all encompassing projects lately for everyone’s Joy and Health.

The boys at the ‘Engine “support and help steer an ever emerging progressive art movement, comprised of urban contemporary, low & highbrow, pop-surrealism, and street and graffiti art from both near and far.”

They have enlisted RyuGraphix’s help in making their new web site layout become a reality. We’ve been working with Cypher13’s Lucian Foehr (small-BUT-dangerous), and Todd Berger (TeeBee) on cutting up their template and turning it into one mean, standards-compliant, css based, machine - as well as working some Wordpress magic on it. Keep an eye out for the new JE diggs in the beginning of the year.

Deanna Hirsch Health & Wellness
Deanna is a personal trainer, yoga instructor, as well as a life coach, and nutritionist. We’ve been working on getting her up to date on her logo, print collateral and website.

We have just completed work on The Fitness Gallery’s web site, logo and branding. What a great project, it has been really fun seeing it all take shape! See below for their grand opening flier, the event is coming up in a few weeks and you’ll definitely want to check it out.

Anthony Arnold and crew are putting the final touches on the gym for the opening. Here’s what he had to say:

know, I know… its initial launch was 6 months ago. However, they have now found themselves, and are gearing up to breakout and play with the ‘big boys.’ The previous incarnation just wasn’t up to the expansion that they are planning and is now focused more on the blog aspect, which they’ve been working hard on.

A new and hip approach to personal training, The Fitness Gallery is an exercise studio located within an art gallery. Ryu Graphix developed the branding and identity work for this unique new business in the Highland area of Denver, Colorado. The Fitness Gallery has been quite an exciting project so far, and is shaping up to be a very successful enterprise!

We believe that each workout should be challenging, educational and above all else, individualized to your body and personal goals. Individual yoga sessions, personal training, and group sessions are just a few of the services offered at our studio. Each month, we will be featuring new artists locally, and from across the country. The Fitness Gallery is walking distance from the Highland Pedestrian Bridge, LoLa, and LoDo.
